Abstract
An electrode of a lithium ion battery includes a current collector, an electrode material layer disposed on a top surface of the current collector, and a protective film located on a top surface of the electrode material layer. A composition of the protective film is at least one of AlxMyPO4 and AlxMy(PO3)3, M represents at least one chemical element selected from the group consisting of Cr, Zn, Mg, Zr, Mo, V, Nb, and Ta, and a valence of M is represented by k, wherein 0<x<1, 0<y<1, and 3x+ky=3.
