Abstract
An arylidene-pyrazolone dye of the following formula (1):wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 each independently represent a monovalent substituent; n indicates an integer of from 0 to 4; when n is 2 or more, plural R3's may be the same or different; and R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form a cyclic structure.
