Abstract
A verifier imaging unit structured with a movably mounted imaging device, housed within a housing of the imaging unit, such that the orientation of the imaging device may be altered so that the imaging device may be placed in one of a number of available and pre-established imaging orientations. Each available imaging orientation has an associated imaging window, and a support surface provided about or proximate to the imaging window. The imaging window and support surface enable the placing, distancing, and generally proper locating of a data carrying graphical symbol for subsequent imaging and data collection activities.
