Abstract

A system, comprising a computer having a processor and a memory and an application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, identifies a plurality of routers traversed by data packets sent from a source customer edge router to a destination customer edge router, determines a performance of each of the identified routers with reference to their transport of the data packets sent from the source customer edge router sent to the destination customer edge router, identifies a configuration of the source customer edge router, determines a performance of the source customer edge router, identifies a configuration of the destination customer edge router, determines a performance of the destination customer edge router, analyzes the performance of each of the identified routers, the performance of the source customer edge router, the performance of the destination customer edge router, the configuration of the source customer edge router, and the configuration of the destination customer edge router, and based on the analysis, one of diagnoses a source of a communication problem associated with data packets sent from the source customer edge router to the destination cust…
