Abstract

A clamping apparatus for a hiking/skiing pole for detachably axially fixing a pipe that is insertable into an opening of the clamping apparatus. The clamping apparatus includes a plastic collar, which encloses an axial portion of the pipe and clamps the pipe in a closed state, the plastic collar includes at least one axial slot making the circumference of the plastic collar variable. On opposite sides of the slot first and second projections are arranged on the plastic collar and include a coaxial passage opening that is arranged perpendicular to the pipe axis and through which a transverse pin penetrates. The outside of the second projection has a stop and the outside of the first projection has a rotational axis for a clamping lever, that includes a lever arm, which at least partially encloses the plastic collar when the clamping apparatus is closed, and has an eccentric roll-off region.
