Disclosed is a liquid crystal alignment agent that includes a polymer including polyamic acid including a repeating unit represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, polyimide including a repeating unit represented by the following Chemical Formula 2, or a combination thereof.In Chemical Formulae 1 and 2, X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 are the same as defined in the detailed description.
