Abstract
Provided is an image forming method for forming an image on fabric including a treatment step of applying a treatment agent on fabric, an image printing step of printing an image on a treatment agent-applied area with an ink, and a heat-fixing step of heat-fixing the ink on the fabric. The treatment agent used in the treatment step includes at least one of the following component A and the following component B:Component A: a diallyldimethylammonium chloride-sulfur dioxide copolymerComponent B: a mixture of an allylamine-diallylamine copolymer and sodium chloride.
