Abstract
The present invention relates to a direct printed lightweight panel, in particular a flooring panel, comprising a lightweight MDF or LDF carrier board with a density of ≦750 kg/m3; a decor layer printed onto the carrier board; and a transparent protective coating. The different layers and coatings are applied in such a manner so that surface structures and/or optical characteristics of the carrier board are at least partially visible and thereby incorporated into the design of the decor layer.
