Abstract
Circuit breaker assembly methods and apparatus are provided. Embodiments include side frames of a latching mechanism of a circuit breaker trip unit. Each side frame includes a location tab. Embodiments also include a housing adapted to contain the circuit breaker trip unit, the side frames and a latching mechanism. The housing includes at least two cutouts for recieving the location tabs of the side frames. Insertion of the location tabs into the cutouts in the housing operationally aligns a latching mechanism coupled to the side frames with a circuit breaker trip unit.
