Abstract
An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery having flame retardancy, low negative electrode interfacial resistance, and excellent high temperature properties and life characteristics, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery of the present invention may include a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, fluorinated ether or phosphazene, and a resistance-improving additive represented as the following chemical formula (1):FSO2—R1—SO2F [Chemical Formula 1]
