Abstract
A door frame reinforcement assembly for resisting an intrusive force applied to a building door has a pair of opposing elongated jamb members and elongated reinforcement members securable with a respective jamb member. Each of the jamb members has a pair of rabbet milled step-up cutouts. One of the cutouts receives a long screw threadably engaging the jamb member with the walls studs. The reinforcement members are secured within the second cutout. The reinforcement members are formed as metal tubes with an insert.
