Abstract

This invention is directed to perylene-diimide aromatic dianion compounds, process of preparation and uses thereof. The perylene-diimide aromatic dianion compounds of this invention are stable in aqueous solution and can be used for photofunctional and electron transfer systems in aqueous phase.
