Abstract

The inhalation therapy device comprises an aerosol generator (2) and a mixing chamber (3). The introduction of ambient air is achieved by means of supply channels (9) under the control of an inspiration valve (20), including an aerosol passage (22), a region with inspiration air through openings (23) and a valve element (21). The aerosol passage (22) surrounds the membrane (6) of the aerosol generator (2), whereby a front face edge of the tubular aerosol passage (22) lies along a sealing line (20a) on a surface of the aerosol generator (2).
