Abstract

A fitting operation lever includes rotation fulcrum holes rotationally engaged with boss portions on a first connector housing, boss guiding grooves which enable an engagement or disengagement between the boss portions and the rotation fulcrum holes, and action point projecting portions which move from engagement starting positions on projecting portion guide grooves 25 inside a second connector housing 20 as the rotation of the fitting operation lever to be engaged with projection engagement projecting portions 27 within the second connector housing to thereby apply a force acting in a fitting direction to the second connector housing. The rotation fulcrum holes are formed into an elliptic shape which allows a contact positions thereof with the boss portions to move when the fitting operation lever is rotated in a returning direction when the connector housings are fitted together completely.
