Abstract

A polyvinyl acetal film contains at least one plasticizer and 0.01-1.5% by weight of at least one UV absorber of Formula 1whereR1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 are H, halogen, C1-20 alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, or alkoxyalkyl, andR9, R10 are branched or unbranched C1-50 alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, or alkoxyalkyl groups. The films can be used as museum glazing, display window glazing, as motor vehicle glazing, aircraft glazing, in photovoltaic modules, in LED or OLED screens, televisions, computer screens, big screens, in electrochromic glass elements, photochromic glass elements, and photoelectrochromic glass elements.
