Abstract
The invention relates to an electric switching apparatus (1) comprising: The switching apparatus comprises electric power supply means designed to supply power to the electromagnetic actuator (12) and being arranged to operate in a manner that is dependent on the position of the latching means (15). The electric power supply means are inoperational when the latching means are not in the first operating position, the actuating coil (17) of the electromagnetic actuator (12) not being able to be supplied.
