Abstract
The present invention relates to a self-assembled helical metallic complex of formula (1): [M1M2M3(L1)3] (1) said metallic complex forming a triad donor (M1)/acceptor (M2)/donor (M3), wherein the efficiency of the intermolecular energy transfer between the pair of donors (M) and (M3) to the acceptor (M2) is from 30% to 70% and the L1 ligand-field strength of the donors (M1) and (M3) is at least 19000 cm−1.
