Abstract
An anti-vibration device for a vehicle including a rod (11) fixed to an engine (1) at one end portion (12) thereof and fixed to a vehicle body at the other end portion (13) thereof, an inertia mass (15) supported on the rod (11), an actuator (17) operative to reciprocate the inertia mass in an axial direction of the rod, and an acceleration sensor (21) that detects vibration of the rod in the axial direction. The acceleration sensor (21) is disposed between the one end portion (12) of the rod (11) and the other end portion (13) of the rod (11). Accordingly, sensitivity to pitch vibration of the rod (11) is reduced so that accuracy in detection of rigid body resonance in the axial direction is enhanced.
