Abstract
A helmet accessory is provided, the helmet having an outer surface shaped to cover at least a portion of a user's head, the accessory including a first layer disposed over the shell of the helmet, the first layer having a coefficient of friction less than the coefficient of friction of the outer surface of the shell.
