Abstract
A device includes a sealing ring that clamps around facing ends of two tubes, and that has first and second free ends, each of which is provided with a sealing arrangement suitable for coming into leaktight contact. First and second tightening lugs are fastened to the sealing ring in the vicinities of the first and the second free ends. The device has a bridge covering the sealing arrangements, the bridge being mounted to be stationary relative to the first free end of the ring and suitable for sliding relative to the second free end of the ring.
