Abstract

The invention provides mercaptosilane-carbon black blends comprising at least 20 wt. % of mercaptosilanes of the general formula Iand carbon black, the mercaptosilane-carbon black blend having an iron content of <9 ppm.They are produced by mixing the mercaptosilanes of the general formula I with the carbon black.They can be used in rubber mixtures.
