Abstract
The present invention is coated fabric for airbags which is obtained by applying a silicone resin to at least one surface of woven fabric constituted of synthetic fiber filaments, in an amount of 20 g/m2 or less. The coated fabric is characterized in that in the uncoated base fabric, the warp crimp ratio is less than the weft crimp ratio, the warp crimp ratio is 4% or less, and the difference between the warp crimp ratio and the weft crimp ratio is 0.8-3.0%, and that the coated fabric has a air permeability, measured at a differential pressure of 100 kPa, of 0.02 L/cm2/min or less. Although the amount of the resin applied is 20 g/m2 or less, extremely low air permeability is ensured.
