Abstract
A fixed caliper brake includes a caliper housing that includes two opposing blocks. Each of the opposing blocks includes an axial recess, an axial surface for supporting a brake pad, and elements for mounting and axially and slidably guiding the brake pad. The elements include a pad spring that is attached to each related lug of the brake pad, and a steel lamellar element having a spring and being received in the related recess.
