Abstract
An information handling system functioning as a smart personal connect gateway includes a wireless adapter for communicating with a plurality of wireless links and a storage device for storing a spatial-temporal user profile comprising wireless device usage trend data for a plurality of locations where the smart personal connect gateway has operated. The smart personal connect gateway further includes a positional detector to detect a location of the smart personal connect gateway and an application processor to correlate the wireless device usage trend data to a location and to determine a list of optimal wireless service carriers and available wireless protocols at the location based on a mobile wireless traffic report with a spatial-temporal radio frequency profile indicating signal quality for the plurality of wireless links and the wireless device usage trend data for the location.
