Abstract
The present invention provides antimicrobial polymyxin compounds of the following formula I:or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, or solvates thereof that are antibacterial agents, pharmaceutical compositions containing them, methods for their use, and methods for preparing these compounds.
