Abstract

Disclosed are an information transmission method and a device thereof. The method comprises: after determining that a UE needs to conduct base station handover, a source base station which supports an eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability querying whether a candidate target base station supports the eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability or not; and if the source base station queries that the candidate target base station supports the eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability or fails to query whether the candidate target base station supports the eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability or not, or when the source base station does not query whether the candidate target base station supports the eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability or not, the source base station sending to the candidate target base station the eDDA auxiliary information about the UE, to enable the candidate target base station which supports the eDDA auxiliary information reporting and processing capability to conduct radio resource parameter configuration on the UE based on the received eDDA auxil…
