Abstract

A composition and a method of preparing the composition are provided herein. The composition comprises an active substance and a polymeric additive comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (I):wherein each R is independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, and combinations thereof; and Z comprises at least 10 units represented by the formula (II):wherein each R1 is independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a carbonyl group, a hydroxyl group, an ether group, and combinations thereof and R2 is a C1-C10 hydrocarbon group. The polymeric additive further comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (III):A  (III)wherein A is an alkyleneoxy group having from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.
