Abstract
The invention relates to a hair styling appliance (1) for curling and straightening hair, comprising: According to the invention, the greatest width l1 of the first housing (6) is less than or equal to 90% of the greatest width l2 of the second housing (7), and at least one of the first housing (6) and the second housing (7) is asymmetric with respect to the median plane in longitudinal section of said first housing (6) or said second housing (7), respectively.
