Abstract

Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is phenyl; 4-hydroxy-phenyl; 2- or 3-thienyl; cyclohexyl; cyclohexen-1-yl; cyclohexa-1, 4-dien-1-yl; or 3,4-disubstituted phenyl, where the substituents may be identical to or different from each other and are selected from the group consisting of chlorine, hydroxyl or methoxy; and PA1 R is an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic; aromatic or heterocyclic group of diverse types; and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof formed with inorganic or organic bases. The compounds as well as their salts are useful as antibiotics.
