Abstract
A pigment paste comprising a pigment and as a pigment dispersing agent, a compound having a basic structure represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group, and R.sub.2 represents a residue of a diol or polyol, or a mixture of said pigment dispersing agent and an organic solvent, said pigment being dispersed in said pigment dispersing agent or in said mixture.
