Abstract

A combination product for oral contraception is disclosed comprising an estrogen selected from2.0 to 6.0 mg of 17&bgr;-estradiol and0.020 mg of ethinylestradiol;and a gestagen selected from<DEL-S DATE="20030916" ID="DEL-S-00001"/>0.25 to 0.30<DEL-E ID="DEL-S-00001"/> <INS-S DATE="20030916" ID="INS-S-00001"/>2.5 to 3.0 <INS-E ID="INS-S-00001"/>mg of drospirenone and<DEL-S DATE="20030916" ID="DEL-S-00002"/>0.1 to 0.2<DEL-E ID="DEL-S-00002"/> <INS-S DATE="20030916" ID="INS-S-00002"/>1 to 2 <INS-E ID="INS-S-00002"/>mg of cyproterone acetate,followed by 5 or 4 pill-free or sugar pill days.
