Abstract
A packaging tube for compressed tablets, pills and similar products is provided with a bottom cavity which is separated from the container portion of the tube by a partition wall, a removable box being inserted in the cavity in the same manner as an end plug. The removable box is formed by two half-shells which are connected together by means of a flexible tongue. The half-shells cooperate so as to form a closed box by means of a skirt extending from the flat portion of the half-shell which forms the base of the box and by means of a rib carried by the internal face of the flat main portion of the half-shell which forms the lid of the box, the rib being applied against the internal face of the skirt. The closed box can be introduced into the cavity in the same manner as an end-plug or stopper by virtue of the skirt, which is provided with an abutment shoulder.
