Abstract

Imidazo-fused iso- and heterocycles, process for their preparation, compositions containing them and their use A compound of the formula ##STR1## in which the symbols have the following meaning: X is a monocyclic radical having 3,4 or 5 ring atoms, PA1 R.sup.1,R.sup.2,R.sup.3,R.sup.4,R.sup.12 and R.sup.13 are, for example, an alkyl radical, PA1 q is zero or 1, PA1 L is, for example, a methylene group and PA1 A is the radical, for example, of a heterocycle are highly active as antagonists of angiotensin II receptors. They can be used as pharmaceuticals or diagnostics.
