Abstract
This invention provides compounds of formula I having the structure ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are, each, independently, hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, aralkoxy, trifluroalkoxy, alkanoyloxy, hydroxy, halo, trifluoromethyl, cyano, amino, mono- or di-alkylamino, alkanamido, or alkanesulfonamido; PA1 R.sub.5 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl or alkylcycloalkyl; PA1 R.sub.6 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl; PA1 X is oxygen or carbon; PA1 A is oxygen or NZ; PA1 Z is hydroxyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, carboxyalkyloxy of 2-7 carbon atoms, arylamino, or alkylsulfonyamino of 1-6 carbon atoms; PA1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which are useful in the treatment of arthritic disorders, colorectal cancer, and Alzheimer's disease.
