Abstract

The invention relates to new arylglycinamide derivatives of general formula I ##STR1## and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 together with the N to which they are bound form a ring of the formula ##STR2## wherein p is 2 or 3 and PA0 X denotes oxygen, N(CH.sub.2).sub.n R.sup.6 or CR.sup.7 R.sup.8, PA0 and R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, R.sup.8, Ar and n have the meanings given in the specification, and the preparation and use thereof. The new compounds are valuable neurokinin (tachykinin)-antagonists.
