Abstract
The present invention is directed to methods of using ethylene antagonists on oil palm before harvest of the oil palm fruit to increase oil production, wherein the ethylene antagonist is not 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) or aminoethyoxyvinylglycine (AVG).
